Hunting is my passion. Whether chasing screaming bulls on public land, rutting whitetails in the midwest, gators in southern swamps, or that first morning gobble of a wild turkey, I strive to learn from every experience. I treat every hunt as an opportunity to hone skills and discipline. It is up to us to do everything it takes to be at the top of our game. I want to teach you from my experiences in the field, both successes and failures, so we can reach our full potential. I also want to help new hunters embrace the experience and appreciate all aspects of hunting and the outdoor life. My time in the woods and willingness to learn is what has made me successful in this industry.

Deer

Growing up, deer hunting was a way of life. I killed my first buck with a bow when I was thirteen, and still get just as excited today as I did back then. There is something special about sitting 25-30 feet up in a tree on cold November morning waiting for a mature buck to slip up. The patience it takes to be a successful whitetail hunter should never be underestimated. Possessing the wherewithal to let young animals walk and strictly target mature bucks makes whitetail deer hunting with a bow one of the hardest things to do in the hunting world.

Elk

Elk hunting has more recently become one of my favorite hunting pursuits. An 800-pound animal that "barks" at you gets your heart beating at a level you didn't know possible. Being able to communicate with these animals and call them close is incredibly exciting. Being successful on do-it-yourself, backpacking, cross-country elk hunts is the most rewarding thing I've ever done.  The meat is second to none and the experience of sleeping in a tent for 8 days in the wild high-country is simply unforgettable.

Turkey

Each Spring I become addicted to the gobble of wild turkeys. Beginning the first weekend of March and lasting through May, every gobble I hear makes me tingle inside. Calling and interacting with a gobbler is one of the coolest experiences in the hunting world. Having a mature Tom come in to beat up your decoys and strut around is a sight everyone should see at least once.

Alligator

Living in South Florida, I have been around alligators my entire life. Knowledge acquired through other outdoor hunting experiences can be applied to this specialized hunting pursuit as well. There is something unique about trying to stalk and kill a reptile known to kill people. After a successful hunt, fried gator tail is a popular dish down here in the swamp.
